She obtained a BS in Accounting from Woodbury University in February 1970, an MA in accounting from Cal State Los Angeles in December 1975 and an MBT (Masters in Business Taxation) from Golden Gate University in January 1980, all at night while working full time in the accounting field.
She established her own practice in 1978 after suffering discrimination as a woman professional. Her primary practice is tax planning and return preparation for individuals and small businesses, including accounting and payroll services. Her firm employs four, and relies heavily on advanced computer support systems.
She is accepting new clients by referral with her special emphasis in taxation and estate planning .
